About this Apprenticeship
The SOS Children's Village Frankfurt am Main offers a children's and family center with a four-group daycare center for 60 children (U3 to school entry) and outpatient as well as inpatient youth welfare services, providing diverse offerings for children, adolescents and families in Frankfurt and the Rheingau-Taunus region. For our SOS Children's Village Frankfurt am Main we are looking for an Educator / Social Pedagogue (m/f/d) as Integration Specialist for a child in the over-3 area, part-time (30 hrs/week), starting as soon as possible.
What You'll Learn
- Education and Support: Education, care and development-oriented support of children according to the Hessian Education and Upbringing Plan (BEP) and oriented towards the Early Excellence Approach (EEC)
- Pedagogical Offers: Creative planning and implementation of individual pedagogical offers that promote the strengths of each child
- Educational Partnership: Partnership-based cooperation at eye level with parents and guardians for the holistic development of children
- Teamwork: Active participation in team meetings with the opportunity to contribute own ideas and impulses
- Concept and Organization: Co-design in the organizational and conceptual area for the further development of the facility
- Child Protection: Conscientious assurance of child and caregiver protection for a safe and appreciative environment
Requirements
- You have completed training as a state-recognized educator or a comparable pedagogical qualification, ideally with relevant professional experience
- You are communicative, team-oriented and empathetic
- You are interested in resource- and development-oriented work with children and parents/guardians
- You have a participative attitude
- You are willing to self-reflect and are interested in personal development
- Your handling of closeness and distance to those in your care is professional
