Apprenticeship as a Cook

Comprehensive and exciting training as a cook in one of Germany's best canteens (Food & Health canteen test 2024-2025) at Swiss Life in Garching. You take part in training activities of the Association of Cooks Germany and internal seminars, and external kitchen internships at partner businesses are possible.

• You learn to prepare main courses, side dishes and desserts, taking nutrition basics into account
• You learn to organize workflows in the kitchen
• You take responsibility for managing supplies as well as receiving goods and checking delivery notes
• You are part of a dedicated team with other apprentices in a sustainable and biodiverse kitchen
• You can accompany us to culinary exhibitions, gastronomy fairs and cooking events

• You have successfully obtained the qualifying Hauptschule certificate, intermediate school certificate or Abitur
• You are motivated to learn the practical and professional skills of a cook (m/f/d)
• Interest in handling food
• A high degree of creativity and attention to detail as well as a strong sense of care, responsibility and teamwork
