Working Student GIS & Geodata Management / Network Documentation

In your new, exciting role, you will support our Network Data Management team in the digitalization and quality assurance of technical geodata, thereby creating an important basis for the safe operation and further development of our pipeline network.

• Support in the maintenance, updating, and quality assurance of our digital network documentation
• Participation in the collection, analysis, and processing of geodata for the gas transport network
• Support in the processing and integration of survey and inventory data
• Maintenance and evaluation of data in GIS and CAD systems
• Participation in the use and quality assurance of geobasis and ALKIS data
• Creation of maps, evaluations, and technical documentation
• Support in digitalization and data quality projects
• Collaboration with adjacent departments such as surveying, planning, and technical asset management

• Ongoing studies in Geoinformatics, Geomatics, Surveying, Geography, Geosciences, Civil Engineering, Infrastructure Management, Environmental Engineering, or a comparable field
• Knowledge of GIS and/or CAD systems, ideally Smallworld, ArcGIS, or AutoCAD
• Proficient in MS Office
• Interest in geodata, digital infrastructure models, and technical interrelationships
• Ideally initial exposure to geobasis or ALKIS data
• Analytical thinking as well as a structured and careful way of working
• High degree of initiative, sense of responsibility, and reliability
• Enjoy working in a team and exchanging expertise with different technical areas
