About this Apprenticeship
TKMS stands for outstanding engineering and innovation in surface and underwater shipbuilding. As a SIMATIC PCS 7 software engineer at the Beckum site, you technically lead the SIMATIC PCS 7 software team in developing automation solutions for naval projects. Full-time, permanent, hybrid.
What You'll Learn
- Technical leadership of the SIMATIC PCS 7 software team in developing automation solutions for naval projects and ensuring compliance with standards, cybersecurity requirements and engineering standards
- Design and implementation of complex customer requirements, including optimization and further development of existing standards
- Development of the SIMATIC PCS 7 software architecture for AS/OS systems, redundancy concepts, network structures and interfaces
- Planning and carrying out acceptance tests at suppliers and on board to verify system conformity
- Coordination of all project-related activities, documentation of results and ensuring continuous knowledge transfer within the team
Requirements
- Completed degree in automation, electrical, computer or information technology and at least 5 years of professional experience
- Several years of experience leading SIMATIC PCS 7 teams and extensive engineering knowledge of SIMATIC PCS 7 (AS&OS), including advanced system knowledge and integration of third-party systems and interfaces; simulation experience is an advantage
- Fluent German and English
- Confident manner, assertiveness, strong teamwork and communication skills as well as high precision, personal responsibility, resilience and organizational skills
- Ability to coordinate complex technical requirements and independently lead project tasks
