System Security Engineer

TKMS is seeking a System Security Engineer in Beckum to plan and manage secure IT infrastructure, networks and security measures. This permanent, full-time position offers hybrid work and a flexible start date.

• Plan, set up and manage IT infrastructure and networks
• Develop, document and enforce security policies, standards and procedures, and carry out risk management, threat identification, risk assessments and security audits
• Design and implement secure IT architectures, including technical safeguards such as firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, encryption and access controls
• Administer identity and access management and ensure information security management in projects
• Analyse IT security risks, plan and implement safeguards, and continuously monitor and improve security

• Strong skills in administering IT systems, including Windows, domain management, group policies and Active Directory, plus sound knowledge of network administration
• At least five years of professional IT experience, including proven suitability for handling classified information
• Strong communication skills and customer focus, excellent teamwork, flexibility, initiative, assertiveness and willingness to travel occasionally for work, around 10%
• Technical understanding, analytical thinking, strong written and spoken communication skills and a strong willingness to learn and continue training
• English at B1/B2 level and knowledge of the applicable legal requirements
