Apprenticeship High School Graduate & Retail Specialist Program for Future Managers

For the apprenticeship start on 01.08.2027 we are looking for you as a future toomworker for an apprenticeship as a junior manager in our toom DIY store in the garden department. You are the focus for us. And a whole team behind you: Because respect, mutual appreciation and support are the most important thing for us – no matter what position you work in.

• In the high school graduate & retail specialist program for future managers you are integrated into our company from day one and learn hands-on in the garden the retail business, toom and all processes from different perspectives
• Within 18 months you already have your title as retail merchant (m/f/d), in order to subsequently complete the further training as a retail specialist as well as the trainer aptitude certificate (AdA) in 22 months
• You go through the various specialist departments in the garden, acquire specific specialist knowledge of our assortments and learn how to advise customers optimally and conduct sales talks
• You also accompany the garden managers in their daily work and are perfectly prepared for the entry as a junior manager
• Approximately every 6 weeks you will attend 5-day theory modules at our educational provider in Neuwied and benefit from excellent learning conditions through small course groups

• General higher education entrance qualification or university of applied sciences entrance qualification
• Enjoyment of contact and fun dealing with customers
• Interest in retail and our garden assortment
• A high degree of communication skills
• Enjoy working in a team and later leading one yourself
• High willingness to perform, resilience and great talent for self-organization
• Regional flexibility (for further training as a retail specialist)
