Apprenticeship Retail Merchant / Sales Assistant - Home Improvement Store

For the training start on 01.08.2027 we are looking for you as a future toomworker for our toom home improvement store in Bochum. You can choose the 2-year apprenticeship as a sales assistant or the 3-year apprenticeship as a retail merchant in the home improvement area. The training takes place within store opening hours.

• You go through different departments and are the first contact person for our customers
• You give tips, know the goods and always have the right tools and materials ready
• You take responsibility in your own projects and contribute your ideas
• You also keep developing through our apprentice seminars and specialist training, so you are very well prepared for your exam
• Sales assistant (2 years): You learn everything about customer advice, product presentation, cash register work and the daily running of the store.
• Retail merchant (3 years): You also deepen your knowledge of business topics, take responsibility in your own projects and grow into a sales professional.
