What toom Baumarkt GmbH offers

• You join the company from day one of the programme for future managers and learn about retail, toom and store operations from different perspectives on the shop floor
• You gain your retail management assistant qualification within 18 months, followed by 22 months of advanced retail management training and a trainer qualification (AdA)
• You rotate through the store's specialist departments, gain detailed knowledge of our product ranges and learn how to advise customers and conduct sales conversations
• You also shadow store managers in their daily work and prepare to start as a junior manager
• About every six weeks, you attend five-day theory modules with our training provider in Neuwied, benefiting from excellent learning conditions in small groups
• Good pay: €1,300 per month in months 1 to 12, €1,500 per month in months 13 to 18, and specialist sales staff pay under a fixed pay scale in months 19 to 33, plus benefits such as help with rent if you move for further training, pension provision, discounts and benefits across the REWE Group
• Close support throughout the programme from contacts in the store, at head office and with the training provider
