Apprenticeship High School Graduate & Retail Specialist Program for Future Leaders

For the apprenticeship start on 01.08.2027, we are looking for you as a future toomworker for an apprenticeship as a junior manager at toom in the DIY store sector. You are the focus. • In the high school graduate & retail specialist program for future leaders, you are integrated into our company from day one and learn hands-on in the store about retail, toom, and all processes from various perspectives
• Within 18 months you already have your title as a retail merchant (m/f/d), to then complete the further education to become a retail specialist and the trainer aptitude certificate (AdA) in 22 months
• You rotate through various specialist departments in the store, acquire specific product knowledge of our assortments, and learn how to optimally advise customers and conduct sales talks
• Additionally, you accompany the store managers in their daily work and are perfectly prepared for the entry as a junior manager
• Approximately every 6 weeks you attend 5-day theory modules at our education provider in Neuwied and benefit from excellent learning conditions due to small course groups

• General higher education entrance qualification or university of applied sciences entrance qualification
• Enjoyment of contact and fun dealing with customers
• Interest in retail and our DIY store assortment
• A high degree of communication skills
• Fun working in a team and later leading one yourself
• High willingness to perform, resilience, and great talent for self-organization
• Regional flexibility (for the further education to become a retail specialist)
