Dual training: You learn both with us in various outpatient departments and at the vocational school – practice and theory go hand in hand. Duration: 3 years Vocational school: Carus Akademie UKD – Alemannstraße 14, 01309 Dresden Participation in holistic care and support of people in need of care of all ages – including vital sign monitoring, wound care, assistance with personal hygiene and implementation of medically ordered measures such as blood sampling, injections and medication administration Communication and teamwork at eye level: empathetic interaction with patients and relatives as well as close cooperation with nursing specialists, therapists, doctors and other professional groups Use of modern nursing methods and medical technology as well as documentation of nursing measures in an IT-supported patient administration – supplemented by exciting practical assignments in geriatric and outpatient care

• You have an intermediate secondary school certificate or a lower secondary school certificate with a completed at least 2-year training e.g. as a nursing assistant
• Team spirit, reliability and desire for new things
• You already have first practical experience in a medical environment, e.g. through an internship.
• You are physically fit for the profession
• If you come from abroad, we additionally require:
• Language certificate (German B2)
• Recognition of your school certificate by the State Office for School and Education Saxony
