About this Apprenticeship
To support the team in the Legal department of Autobahn GmbH des Bundes in Munich, a claims handling clerk is wanted. Pay follows pay grade EG 9a under the MTV-Autobahn.
What You'll Learn
- Handling compensation and damage claims against third parties
- Independent coordination and control of the entire claims handling process, from recording to settlement
- General administrative and organizational tasks in claims handling
- Handling damage claims by third parties
- Coordinating and maintaining the interface with other departments
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as a legal clerk, public administration clerk or commercial training (e.g. insurance and financial investment clerk), or similar or equivalent suitability gained through work experience
- Work experience and expertise in claims handling, dunning and/or receivables management
- Basic knowledge of the Federal Trunk Road Act, Road Traffic Act and Road Traffic Regulations
- Basic knowledge of the German Civil Code (BGB)
- Negotiation-level German in speech and writing
- Very good knowledge of MS Office
- Desirable: knowledge of SAP
- Strong conscientiousness and good time management
- Committed, reliable, responsible, independent way of working
- Enjoyment of teamwork
- High resilience, decisiveness and willingness to commit
