About this Apprenticeship
- The apprenticeship starts on September 1, 2027 and lasts three years. You alternate between multi-week blocks at the vocational school, the Bavarian Administration School in Munich and your internship positions in the departments of the Munich city administration. There you will get to know the diverse areas of responsibility of the 14 departments and the directorate in six-month blocks and gain insights into possible future fields of activity. The deployment possibilities range from legally and economically oriented tasks, for example in the vehicle registration office or the training grant office, to activities in human resources, school secretariats and other organizational areas of the city administration. The basis for the practical work is the instruction at the vocational school and the Bavarian Administration School:
- Law: e.g. private law, municipal law
- Administrative business economics
- Human resources
- Administrative procedures Under certain conditions, it is also possible to complete the apprenticeship on a part-time basis.
Requirements
- Degree: You have a secondary school leaving certificate ("Mittlere Reife") or a higher qualification. If you have a non-German school leaving certificate, you must prove German language skills at level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) with a certificate.
- Motivation: You are interested in working with laws and legal regulations and can imagine dealing with legal and administrative issues. You bring not only initiative and self-organization but also enjoyment in dealing with citizens.
- Team spirit: You enjoy working with other people in a team. Your team can always rely on you. With your open and flexible manner, you quickly find your way into your regularly changing internship positions.

- 1st apprenticeship year: 1,532 Euro (gross)
- 2nd apprenticeship year: 1,581 Euro (gross)
- 3rd apprenticeship year: 1,627 Euro (gross)
