Florist Apprentice

Apprenticeship with the City of Munich, combining practical training at Sachsenstraße 9 and Eduard-Schmid-Straße 36 with individual vocational school days in Munich. It starts on 1 September 2027 and usually lasts three years, with the option to shorten it to two years under certain conditions.

• Intermediate school certificate or an equivalent or higher qualification
• If your school qualification was not taught in German, a certificate showing German at CEFR level B2
• Grades of 4 or better in German and mathematics
• Medical fitness for the role
• Motivation to train as a florist
• A passion for flowers
• Creativity and practical skill
• Teamwork and reliability
• Careful work and the ability to stay organized during busy periods
• Practical experience, for example through internships in horticulture, a trade or floristry, is desirable.
• A CV in German in tabular format
• School leaving certificate or your latest annual or interim school report
• Training and employment references, if applicable
• Official recognition of foreign educational qualifications
• A certificate showing German at level B2 for qualifications not taught in German
• Consent from a parent or guardian for applicants under 18
