Specialist Teacher for Vocational Schools (several positions from the 1st school half-year 2026/2027)

As a teacher in practical instruction at one of the 87 municipal vocational schools of the City of Munich, you support children, young people and young adults in developing their talents. Full-time and part-time possible, permanent. Pay according to E9b or E10 TVöD or A10 or A11 BayBesG.

• You support children, young people and young adults in developing their talents and abilities and their personalities.
• You help give students orientation so they can lead a fulfilling, self-determined, socially responsible and sustainable life.
• Together with your colleagues you develop modern teaching concepts and actively shape school life.
• Your area of work is practical instruction at one of the 87 municipal vocational schools.

• the teaching qualification as a specialist teacher at vocational schools through completing a one-year preparatory service or probationary year with successful passing of the qualification exam in the following training areas for industrial-technical professions as well as for nutrition and supply for social-pedagogical and social care professions for health professions for nursing professions, especially nursing pedagogy for vocational preparation
• for industrial-technical professions as well as for nutrition and supply
• for social-pedagogical and social care professions
• for health professions
• for nursing professions, especially nursing pedagogy
• for vocational preparation
• proof of acquiring the career qualification under § 26 QualVFL as a specialist teacher at vocational schools in artistic and design training areas or based on the rules of the ZLSFbAV, which has since expired
• Specialist knowledge: such as the ability to do conceptual work in a team, pedagogical and professional knowledge, knowledge and skills in lesson design and educational work, willingness to help shape the Munich approach to school and teaching development, ability to develop and implement strategies for using digital media in schools, ability to learn throughout life
• Cooperation and conflict skills, especially the ability to work in a trusting and constructive way at school, with parents and, if applicable, external institutions
• Result and goal orientation, especially a sense of responsibility and willingness to take responsibility
