Child Care Worker / Educational Assistant

The City of Munich is looking for child care workers for its roughly 460 facilities across the city (nurseries, kindergartens, after-school care centres, children's day centres, children's houses, day homes, cooperative all-day schooling). Full-time and part-time possible, permanent, pay grade S4 TVöD-SuE.

• You are responsible for the education, upbringing and care of children aged nine weeks to twelve years and for cooperating with parents as part of the educational partnership.

• Successfully completed training as a state-certified child care worker or
• A comparable qualification
• Professional knowledge: knowledge of the Bavarian Education and Upbringing Plan, ability to reflect, professional educational approach and attitude, knowledge of observation instruments
• Flexibility regarding place of work
• Sense of responsibility, teamwork, empathy, coordination skills, intercultural competence, gender competence
• If needed, proof of German skills at level B2 of the European reference framework
