In the horticulture and landscaping specialization, we are a dedicated training department. That means training is our most important task. You will be in a group with other trainees, and the construction sites are throughout the Munich city area. For our training we have already received the State Honorary Prize for exemplary training several times. You will study at the Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences, Freising (HSWT). The HSWT has offered the Bachelor's program in Landscape Construction and Management as a dual study program since August 2007. In just 4.5 years total, you can obtain the academic degree Bachelor of Engineering as well as the vocational qualification as a gardener specializing in horticulture and landscaping.

• After a successful application at HSWT, a signed vocational training contract and a cooperation agreement, you start on August 1st at the training company in the horticulture and landscaping specialization for a 14-month training phase.
• In the following year you confirm your application for a study place at HSWT and begin the Bachelor's program in the winter semester.
• During semester breaks and in the practical semester (5th semester) you are back at our training company.
• The practical phases include practical training, inter-company courses at DEULA in Freising and block instruction at the vocational school in Höchstädt an der Donau.
• The practical training duration is 24 months, and the final examination takes place at the end of the practical semester after 3.5 years.
• Two semesters later you complete your landscape construction studies with the Bachelor of Engineering degree.
• You are in a group with other trainees, and the construction sites are in the Munich city area.

• Abitur, Fachhochschulreife or equivalent university entrance qualification
• German language skills at level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR); to be proven by a corresponding certificate
• Fulfillment of the university admission requirements of the Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences
• Medical fitness
• Motivation for an apprenticeship as a landscape gardener
• Pronounced interest in construction technology, management and ecology
• Creativity and joy in design

• Teamwork skills and interest in a responsible role
• Preferably you have practical experience, e.g. completed internships in horticulture or skilled trades
