Working Student/Student Assistant as Retractor Holder, Orthopaedics

A side job with valuable clinical insights: alongside your medical studies you support the orthopaedics clinic team in the operating theatre for about 18 hours per week. Marginal employment.

• With a self-organised daily schedule you have flexible working hours (on weekdays mainly OR assistance, at weekends mainly blood draws)
• In joint replacement, (sports) orthopaedic and trauma surgery procedures you are the 2nd assistant in the OR
• You help with bringing patients in and out of the OR and positioning them
• You also take blood samples or place peripheral venous cannulas for our inpatients

• You are a medical student in Munich.
• No matter which semester you are in, you are interested in clinical work with and on patients. We are also happy to train students from the pre-clinical stage.
• Reliability, openness and a structured approach set you apart.
• It is perfect if you have experience with sterile working and conduct in the operating theatre. If not, you will learn it with us.
