Apprenticeship – Industrial Mechanic, Starting Autumn 2027

As an industrial mechanic (m/f/x), your tasks can be very diverse. You must be able to manufacture and assemble components and assemblies. You work in production plants and assemble, maintain, or repair technical devices, machines, and systems. You also monitor production processes and instruct colleagues or customers in the use of equipment.

• Instructing colleagues or customers in the operation and handling of assembly and testing tasks after successful completion
• Deployment in the manufacture of machines and precision devices as well as production of components from metal and plastic
• Familiarization with techniques such as turning, milling, drilling, grinding, and various joining techniques as well as assembling and adjusting components
• Setting up workstations, organizing production or manufacturing processes, and monitoring them in accordance with the company's quality management systems
• First contact with latest technologies, such as networked machine systems and robotics
• Performing maintenance and inspections and checking mechanical components

• a good secondary school diploma, intermediate school diploma, or higher education entrance qualification
• good grades in mathematics, physics, and technology
• interest in technical processes and devices as well as manual dexterity
