Working student role at ZEISS in Oberkochen developing optical measurement technology for semiconductors. Plan and conduct experiments, develop software and analyse measurement data.

• Plan experiments with specialists to analyse ultra-precise optical measurement systems and conduct them independently
• Develop and implement software to control experiments and analyse measurement data
• Interpret measurement results and present them to expert teams from different disciplines

• Currently studying physics, optical engineering or a similar subject
• Good technical understanding of how complex optical, mechatronic and sensor components work and interact
• Very good knowledge of data analysis, image processing and algorithms, ideally with programming experience in Matlab
• An independent and organised approach to work with strong communication skills
• Teamwork, initiative and enjoyment of working with people from different disciplines
• Very good spoken and written German and English
