You learn hands-on how a modern health insurance fund works. The Frankfurt location includes the following focus areas:
• Specialist Center Income Replacement Benefits: Here you deepen your knowledge of income replacement benefits such as sickness benefit or maternity benefit. You accompany insured persons as a personal contact during their illness phase and help them obtain the best care and benefits. You also liaise with doctors and the medical service.
• Specialist Center Inpatient Care: Here you gain deep insights into the cost structures of hospitals and rehabilitation facilities. You develop a sense for efficiency in the healthcare system and learn to work economically and customer-oriented. Process Overview:
• In the first three years, you complete the apprenticeship as a Social Insurance Specialist (SoFa) – practical, varied, and with social value.
• From the 2nd year, your Bachelor's study "Business Administration – Health Management" starts in parallel at the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) in Bad Mergentheim.
• After 3 years, you finish your vocational training with the final examination.
• After 4 years, you also obtain the Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree – and thus entry into an exciting career at DAK-Gesundheit. Particularly attractive: After graduation, many doors are open to you – e.g., our talent development program for targeted entry into responsible positions.
