Academic Nursing Specialist as Endometriosis Nurse for the Endometriosis Clinic at the Kunstkrankenhaus Westend

With the chronic condition endometriosis there are often particularly many questions and a high need for counselling for those affected, for which there is hardly enough time in normal consultation hours. In your role as Endometriosis Nurse you are a fixed contact person for our patients and accompany them empathetically during diagnostics and treatment in both inpatient and outpatient settings. You stand by our patients with questions and uncertainties and contribute to improving processes in our endometriosis clinic. At the same time you support our medical team and assist in coordinating the various treatment options.

• You are the contact person for patients with endometriosis and advise on the disease, treatment and dealing with the chronic condition
• You record complaints and individual support needs and accompany patients before and after operations
• You inform about supportive measures such as exercise, physiotherapy, nutrition and pain management
• You recognise further support needs and refer to appropriate specialist departments when necessary
• You work closely with the medical team and support further treatment and quality assurance measures

• Nursing professional with completed Bachelor's degree in Nursing Science, Digital Health Management, Nursing Management or similar course of study
• Professional experience in the field of gynaecology
• Ideal but not mandatory: Experience in the field of endometriosis, pain therapy, counselling or case management
