About this Apprenticeship

For its new store opening in Neubrandenburg, toom is seeking support in garden sales for 120 to 150 hours per month. Part of the REWE Group, toom values respect, appreciation and mutual support.

What You'll Learn

Provide friendly, knowledgeable advice and place customer orders
Deliver our service standards and focus on customers' wishes
Take responsibility for attractive displays and placement of garden products and promotional goods in your sales area
Label prices and put up signs
Make decisions within your authority, for example when handling complaints, and suggest ideas for the product range

Requirements

Experience in retail or wholesale, for example as a retail or wholesale clerk, sales assistant or customer adviser, or in a trade, for example as a gardener, nursery gardener, florist, landscaper or technician, or experience from another industry as a career changer
Interest in our garden range and willingness to get involved
Enjoyment of direct customer contact and selling our products, with strong communication and problem-solving skills
Organisational skills, for example to prioritise and structure daily work independently
Willingness to use digital tools and inventory management systems
