As Product Owner for our SAP Platform on Microsoft Azure, you play a key role in the further development, stability, and innovation of Uniper’s SAP hosting landscape. You act as the interface between business stakeholders, operations teams, infrastructure service providers, and application management teams. In doing so, you ensure that our SAP environments are provided and operated efficiently, securely, and in line with business requirements. You shape the future of our hyperscaler-based SAP platform, drive continuous improvements, and ensure operational excellence for business-critical SAP services.

• You drive the product roadmap, strategy, and lifecycle management of the SAP Platform on Microsoft Azure.
• You act as the central contact person for stakeholders regarding SAP infrastructure and hyperscaler services.
• You continuously optimize the performance, availability, scalability, and cost efficiency of our SAP landscapes operated on Microsoft Azure.
• You are responsible for managing and prioritizing platform-related requirements, enhancements, and operational improvements.
• You manage platform automation initiatives using the SAP Deployment Automation Framework (SDAF) and Infrastructure-as-Code principles.
• You coordinate the provisioning, maintenance, upgrades, and operation of SAP landscapes across multiple environments.
• You manage service delivery by internal teams and external partners to ensure compliance with SLAs and operational excellence.
• You ensure the integration of SAP platforms into company-wide security services, including monitoring, vulnerability management, backup, disaster recovery, firewalls, and cyber defense controls.
• You work closely with the SAP Application Management, Security, and Architecture & Infrastructure teams to develop future-ready SAP hosting solutions.

• You have completed a degree in computer science, business informatics, information technology, or a comparable qualification.
• You have at least 10 years of professional experience in SAP Infrastructure, SAP Basis, or SAP Platform Management.
• You have extensive practical experience hosting SAP systems on Microsoft Azure.
• You have proven experience with the SAP Deployment Automation Framework (SDAF) and the automated provisioning of SAP landscapes.
• You have sound knowledge of SAP NetWeaver, SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA Database, and SAP Landscape Architecture.
• You have a strong understanding of Azure services in the SAP environment, especially Virtual Machines, Networking, Connectivity, Storage Solutions, Backup, High Availability, Disaster Recovery, Monitoring, Observability, and Identity & Access Management.
• You have experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation technologies such as Terraform or comparable tools.
• Experience with large-scale SAP transformation, migration, or cloud adoption projects is an advantage.
• You have knowledge of SAP Security, Compliance, and Operational Best Practices.
• You have experience managing external service providers and cross-functional delivery teams.
• You are familiar with Agile, DevOps, and Product Ownership methods.
• You have a growth mindset, are open to new technologies, and are willing to continuously develop the skills and competencies required for them.
• You communicate confidently in German and English, both verbally and in writing.
