About this Apprenticeship
The position is permanent. The Clinic for Interventional and Diagnostic Neuroradiology and Pediatric Neuroradiology at the University Hospital Bonn fully represents the specialty and offers all diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. For this purpose, the clinic has 4 MRI scanners (1.5 and 3T), two whole-body computed tomography scanners with spiral technology (16-slice and Iqon Spectral), 2 angiography systems, a conventional radiographic workplace, and ultrasound devices. Neuroradiology provides the entire imaging spectrum for a large neurological clinic, as well as the departments of neurosurgery (including stereotaxy and pediatric neurosurgery), psychiatry and psychosomatics, epilepsy, and the emergency care of the neurocenter; additionally, the ENT clinic, eye clinic, angiology, and the children's clinic are neuroradiologically supported. Besides imaging diagnostics, the clinic offers the full spectrum of neurointerventional therapies including acute stroke treatment, extra- and intracranial stent implantations, aneurysm treatments, and embolizations of tumors and complex vascular malformations including arteriovenous malformations and dural AV fistulas.
What You'll Learn
- You work in the front office and back office, are the first point of contact for patients and visitors as well as for all employees of the referring clinics
- Tasks include patient registration, patient admission, and organization of examination briefings
- Acceptance and processing of telephone and digital correspondence
- You coordinate appointments for angiographic examinations and organize the daily workflow
- You coordinate inpatient MRI examinations
Requirements
- Successfully completed training as a medical assistant (MFA) or completed training in the administrative/administrative field
- Friendly demeanor and polite manners as well as assertiveness
- Independent work, flexibility, and high willingness to perform
- Committed personality with interest in patient care and research
- Team player
- Strong intercultural and gender-specific understanding
- Interest in new technical content, organizational changes, and further development in neuroradiology
- Proficient use of MS Office programs would be desirable
