Medical Assistant or Equivalent Qualification

In the Clinic for Thoracic Surgery at the University Hospital Bonn, the following full-time position (38.5 hrs/week) is to be filled starting 15.10.2026: The position is permanent. • Consultation hours & patient care: You are the first point of contact and accompany our patients through the consultation hour in a friendly manner.
• Practice organization: You coordinate the workflow of the surgical outpatient clinic and manage appointments so that everything runs smoothly.
• Assistance during treatments: You assist with examinations and treatments and prepare patients before and after – e.g., for diagnostic measures or operations. After appropriate induction, you also support the medical team directly with minor procedures.
• Documentation: You document patient data and maintain digital patient records conscientiously with modern hospital IT systems.
• Administrative tasks: You assist with office and administrative tasks – from service recording and billing to correspondence. You keep an overview even in hectic moments.
• Participation in improvements: Your ideas are welcome! You actively help optimize work processes and drive digitalization projects in our clinic.

• Qualification: Successfully completed training as a Medical Assistant (MFA) or equivalent qualification.
