Cyber Security Control Assurance Specialist

The Information Management division, HENSOLDT's global IT organization, is looking for a Cyber Security Control Assurance Specialist at the Taufkirchen site as soon as possible. The Cyber Security department develops security measures to protect against cyberattacks and advises departments on information security.

• Independently assess the design and operating effectiveness of cyber security controls and identify and assess resulting control gaps and risks
• Provide professional support for control reviews, assurance activities and audits, and identify, analyze and assess control gaps and resulting risks
• Be responsible for structured documentation of controls, audit evidence and test results, and produce reliable, management-ready assessment results
• Provide professional support and follow-up of corrective actions and independently validate evidence of lasting implementation of identified measures
• Act as central interface in internal and external audits, including coordinating relevant contacts, assessing evidence provided and supporting audit processes
• Derive and formulate recommendations for continuous improvement of cyber security controls and advise relevant stakeholders on control and risk topics

• Completed degree in computer science, business informatics, IT security or a comparable qualification
• Several years of relevant professional experience in cyber security, IT audit, information security, risk management or IT compliance
• Sound knowledge of established cyber security and control frameworks, for example NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) and COSO (Committee of Sponsoring Organizations)
• Extensive experience in independently carrying out or professionally supporting audits, assessments and control reviews, as well as in assessing risks and control effectiveness
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills and the ability to assess complex matters independently and present them to management in a suitable way
• High sense of personal responsibility, a structured and solution-oriented way of working, and confident conduct with internal and external stakeholders
• Strong documentation and communication skills and the ability to drive technical topics forward independently
• Willingness to undergo a security clearance check
• Very good English skills and good German skills
