Working Student Configuration Management

For the Configuration Management area, we are looking for a working student at our Taufkirchen site as soon as possible. The area supports the structured management and tracking of product, software and process information. A focus is on maintaining and further developing software tools, optimizing workflows, and analyzing and preparing key figures, in close cooperation with development, project management and other departments.

• Support in the area of configuration management
• Adapting, maintaining and further developing a software tool
• Configuring and optimizing workflows, forms, reports and dashboards
• Support in collecting, analyzing and preparing KPIs
• Creating regular evaluations and management reports
• Helping define and document configuration management processes
• Developing simple automations, for example using scripts, workflows or automated data preparation
• Support with data maintenance and quality and plausibility checks
• Creating and maintaining work instructions and documentation
• Collaboration with development, project management and other departments

• Ongoing studies in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Engineering or a comparable degree program
• Interest in configuration management, data management and process optimization
• Basic knowledge of software tools and databases
• First experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell or VBA is an advantage
• Confident use of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Access
• First experience with KPI tracking, reporting or process automation is an advantage
• Knowledge of ticket systems, ALM, PLM or configuration management tools is desirable
• Basic understanding of software development and change processes
• Analytical, structured, independent and quality-oriented way of working
• Good German and English skills as well as strong teamwork and communication skills
